Enjoy A Fantastic Holiday In Cyprus With Hotels In Ayia Napa

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Holidays in Cyprus are wonderful because of the magical coastline and fabulous hotels in Ayia Napa. Ayia Napa is almost paradisaical: here the warm-hearted local people live a simple life in a beautiful area. The classic combination of sun, sea and sand make this a place to remember. The sandy beaches here are either white or golden and face an ocean of crystal clear blue waters. The sunsets are also the best that nature can offer.

Okay, lets have a look at the top five hotels in Ayia Napa: the Anthea Hotel Apartments, the Atlantica Sungarden Beach Hotel, the Asterias Beach, the Hotel Adams Beach Hotel and the Electra Holiday Village:

The Electra Holiday Village is only steps away from the beach. The lively nightlife of pubs and discos can be found close by this spot. The guests can engage in a great selection of water sports from scuba diviing, wind surfing and water skiing to canoeing, water scooting, sail and speed boating and even pedal boating.

On the outskirts of Ayia Napa, in the costal area called Nissi Bay, which is renown for its fabulous white sands, can be found the Adams Beach Hotel. The hotel is proud of its high quality, guest services. Only seven minutes stroll away on Nissi Avenue, visitors can enjoy both restaurants and taverns.

Enclosed in its lush green gardens, the Asetrias Beach Hotel can be found in the Makronissos area of the resort. Ideal for couples and families, it is also a popular place for business meetings because of the large, well-equipped Conference Centre. The hotel is close to a 16th century monastery, as well as being near the local town, which has banks, shops, restaurants, and pubs.

The Anthea Hotel Apartments, like the Electra Holiday Village, is only five minutes away from the beaches of Ayia Napa. Close by are small villages and beaches, as well as restaurants, bars and discos for the night time. Again, like the Electra Holiday Village, visitors can enjoy a bustling night life, as well as choose from a broad variety of water sports.

On the fringe of Ayia Napa, Cyprus, is the Atlantica Sungarden Beach Hotel, which looks out across the clear, blue waters of Grecian Bay. Just as with the other hotels, the amenities are very up to date. This 5 story hotel is surrounded by a lush green garden. Like the other hotels in Ayia Napa, it is close to beaches, villages, restaurants and bars.

Volunteer Work In Africa

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Many people volunteer overseas ever year. They volunteer in Kenya as well as many other countries all over the continent. volunteering in Mombasa is just one of the most common places for people to volunteer. A lot of volunteer work takes place in the cities unsurprisingly. As with most African cities many people flock from the countryside around to find jobs within the city. Unfortunately there are not enough jobs to go around and they end up living in shacks and slum areas around the city. This is a common problem throughout Africa and one of the main reasons volunteer help is needed. Many of these people become HIV positive and struggle to earn enough money to eat.

If you would like to participate in some volunteer opportunities abroad there is a lot more to it than helping feed the hungry and working with HIV/AIDS patients. Many people choose to participate in other activities including working with conservationists to help save endangered and wild animals from extinction. There are opportunities to teach the children of the countries various schools subjects including English, Maths & Science. This is crucial to the children’s development as many children in Africa are not even able to go to school.

It is important for volunteer work to continue in Africa as government funded schools and community areas are few and far between. Without volunteer help a lot of these projects would simply disintegrate causing a lot more problems for the local people. People from all over the world are willing to volunteer every year not just in Africa but all over the world. It is an important part of the continents development and each set of cultures can learn a lot from each other by working together. Why not help this special type of unique tourism by volunteering your services abroad this year.
